Nominations have ended. it went faster than I expected!

Please do not nominate anyone else. If you do, they won't be added to the list. You may discuss stuff though.

 

Due to reasons over a year ago, a lot of staff went over to the other forum and don't plan on coming back, atleast not yet.
Because of this, only a small handful of mods/admins only do stuff on this site now. And recently there was a lot of spam attacks which was a lot of work for just a couple people.
 
So now we're deciding to look for potential new moderators (or whatever rank we give them/you) to help keep this place orderly.
We make no promises that anyone will be chosen. You might nominate someone, we might not choose them. It's nothing against you or them. We might not even choose anyone.
 
What they will need to do:

• Move posts to correct sections
• Delete spam
• Merge/split topics
• Don't act upon hate for a user (if you find them annoying, don't ban them or delete their posts, or other)
• other

... all while trying to remain friendly and nice, even if they are jerks.

• Nominate people you TRUST wouldn't abuse their powers. People who are active. Preferably people who have been here for a while and are helpful and friendly. 
• You may also nominate yourself, if you wish.
• Please give a small reason why you think they'd be a good choice.
• If you see you've been nominated and do/don't want to be a moderator, say something in here.

I find that hey are helpful and responsible and I have never seen any kind of bigotry from any of them in their helpful advice to others on the forum, as well I have noticed that each helps to take responsibility for other posts by making corrections where they see corrections needed in code.

I hate it, but I still do it got nothing else to do all day.

 

I'll keep track of Nominees in first post. maybe in a week or 2 we (other staff/I) can sift through the list and ask them.

Actually, I was going to recommend that - if folks want the job, speak up - let the Mods decide who gets the custodial promotions.

nope. We don't have 100% server access and it's still tied to poly's company, afaik. We do have more access than before, though. Thus why many moderators refuse to come back here from ahkscript. As long as Poly is running it, not coming back.

Yep, I have not yet gotten the full blown access to this site.... So we are pretty much in a frozen state at the moment...
