I noticed you were on google adwords when I found you!
I just wondered, since you were paying for google ad's and how you manage to afford that advertising it if it is open source.
I am happy that you are getting the word about.
Would you like user's to donate? Please put a donate button somewhere on the site if you do!

If enough people express an interest in donating, I might someday put such a button on the site.
Thanks for your feedback.

I would also donate if there were such a link. I use freeware until I'm sure it's functionality will meet my needs and it is reliable. At that point I generally donate between $10 and $20 if there is an option to do so via PayPal.
AutoHotkey certainly fills the bill of a very useful product for which I would donate if such an option were available via PayPal!

Although donations aren't expected or solicited, it's gratifying when someone likes the product enough to ask specifically about donating. So thanks.
Edit: Updated link.

why not place a paypal-button on the homepage?
In additon you could use small discrete google-ads. Very easy to use.

For now I think I'd like to keep it free of that. Such things give the impression that donations are expected and that's not what I want. On the other hand, if anyone here specifically wants to donate (to offset website costs) I can provide a direct link. However, others have already donated enough to cover the site for a few years.why not place a paypal-button on the homepage?
I want to keep the site "pure".In additon you could use small discrete google-ads. Very easy to use.
I appreciate both your suggestions.

I also hate ads, but if a free project gets to expensive for the author, I think it's okay. Well, Chris is not at that point and so I'm very happy that there will be no ads. It was only a suggestion and I also wrote "discrete" ;-)

Just dropping into the forum and wanted to say hello and much thanks for such an awesome and useful automation tool. I've tried many others, and have found this to be able to outperform just about every one of them, plus all of the additional features and in depth help section and sample scripts, etc.
Thanks Again,
~Dave

always been supportive of open source/ free/ donations useful programs that I use everyday.
AutoHotkey and Sandboxie are on top of my list, with these two it just basically secures and maintain without bloat, useless junk, need to constantly update, wanting to take over your system etc..
since using maintenance ahk scripts I have dumped many apps including CCleaner.
