Hi guys,

For some time now I was planning on creating a youtube channel dedicated to AHK tutorials to help the beginners/intermediate users by explaining how the commands work, by showing step by step how I create my scripts and how do I tackle the common logical problems encountered during coding.

I do plan on making advanced tutorials, probably never enough for the hardcore AHK coders here, since I am sure they have more experience than me anytime... but anyways, at the moment I will focus only on helping the newcomers and improving myself to be able to help more people.

So with your help, feedback and support I think this could be an interesting project.

I am very open to suggestions for topics and as I make script commenting and review, you could suggest scripts to be shown in that section of my program.

If anyone has video tutorial requests please post them here.

Questions will be answered by video on the Q&A section if they are FAQs or if they might be useful for other people beside you.
Give me suggestions for script reviews, which i will add to the Advanced section.

Thanks for your comments and support!

I will update this post with info about new uploads.

Last Update: **August 04, 2012**
I uploaded some videos that have copyright problems to Vimeo which fixes the issue, check the links beside the titles... People in Germany might find this useful!

I will probably copy the whole library to vimeo as well for users who prefer that site instead of youtube.

You may want to start with scripts for shooting games and online MMO's. The majority of the people who post, who do not want to 'read' 10 lines of code or spend 8 seconds searching, may find your videos very useful.

It is also benificial as it could draw attention to the language as it is on YouTube and for games, lots of people troll YT for game related hacks, cheats and other things like that.

That, and it will keep them from clogging up the 'ask for help' thread. Maybe.

After WoW and Call of Duty.... do COM

Bravo !

I don't know where you come from, but I have understand your english (it's a very good feature) or in majority.
However, if you have time, you can subtitle your video for better understanding with the international community.
(also, I have four deaf children at house...)

Actually you got my idea pretty right... I will start with simple "auto-triggers" and such but then dive down to WinAPI calls with dllcall, COM objects and what not. Probably will do both at the same time but divided in to different playlists so beginners can follow their line while intermediate/advanced users dont have to wait for me to "get there".

The idea I have is that the beginners section will start with pretty basic stuff, but I will have other sections, probably will create playlists divided like:
--Script Review (checking out some of the great scripts out there trying to understand how they work and try to explain how their logic goes)
--Gui Creation
--General Automation
--Game Macros
--File Management
--Flow of Control
--Functions
--Process Management
--Registry Management
--Sound Commands
--String Management
--Window Management
--Expressions
--Regular Expressions
--HotKeys

and so on....

**based on one of our funny forum topics (<!-- m -->http://www.autohotke...pic.php?t=54175<!-- m -->)
Thats why I need feedback and ideas.

The problem there is that I only speak Spanish/English, for that other people would have to donate their subtitles to specific languages which I can gladly add to the Closed Captioned system of youtube.
I mean English subtitle, because listen an english accent is harder than read.

They are on the way... actually the introduction video stumps on section 1 :D

@Zaelia

Well that will not be a problem at all.
Thanks for pointing out.

QFT, but I am not planning on copying the manual, I will just go over the main things to give the viewers an idea of how it works, clarify the usual pitfalls, help on clearing the usual bugs, but in no way I will explain every single one of the commands possible with dllcall's or COM objects and the sort...

@RaptorX
I also sent you a message on youtube:

there's a small problem with the syntax highlighting that you've provided, for some reason when I have :
;*******************************************************************************
#Include %A_ScriptDir%\Functions.ahk
The first semicolon and asterisk are green but the rest of the asterisks are blue
