hi, first off, let me say that this script is probably horrible, but it works. its for work and saves me a ton of time every day.

#b::
x := 6
y := 1
Run Notepad
WinWait Untitled - Notepad
WinActivate
Loop, %x% {
	send ^v
	send {enter}
}
send ^{home}
send ^f
send chapter_number=1
send {enter}
send {escape}
send {right}
send {left}
if (x <= 9)
{
	Loop, %x% {
	send {bs}
	send %y%
	send {down}
	y++
	}
} else {
	Loop, 9 {
	send {bs}
	send %y%
	send {down}
	y++
	}
	Loop, % (x-9)
      {
	send {bs}
      Send %y%
      Send {down}
	send {left}
      y++
      }
}
send ^a
send ^c
send !{F4}
send {right}
send {enter}
send ^v
return

what it does: i have to upload materials to a website and return links to the uploaded files to the person that submitted the request. so i have a bunch of websites like:

website.com/chapter_number=1
website.com/chapter_number=2
website.com/chapter_number=3
website.com/chapter_number=4
etc...

instead pasting the same same thing X times and changing each number manually, i just copy one address and run the script. it does the rest.

i have to edit the script each time to change the variable X, x=the number of urls i need.

what i would like to do is have a popup box that takes my input and changes X. how would i go about doing this? is it possible with autohotkey?

thank you in advance.[/code]
