I'm against censorship in all forms, but I think you're grasping at straws. If I wanted to level charges of copyright infringement, I'd start with the people \ agency who designed the web site and controlled its content. It's highly unlikely Lamar Smith had anything to do with it.
As an example, no where on Obama's web site is credit given to the people who designed Obama's birth certificate. Do I blame Obama? Of course not. 8)
