Can we get the function back for the Code tag to expand and collapse?

It's really annoying to scroll through a long script.

Also, while the subject it up: the new Code tag also doesn't make comments a separate color like the old Code tag did.
It would be nice to have these previously existent features back.

They were rather helpful when reading.

I too also dislike the new 'code' tag system, is not very user friendly, or visually appealing.

I think both Gists and Code tags should be expandable or colapsable.

Can we get a status on this request?

Unless someone else can do it, not until the end of May at the earliest.

autohotkey.net/JSLover/JavaScript/Code-Block
...it was ignored...(& I can't find the forum topic for it).

Why would you need server access to test a javascript?

Why would you need server access to test a javascript?

...not to "test" it, but to "put it in place"...without waiting on you to do it.

You replied to this topic "Unless someone else can do it, not until the end of May at the earliest."...then I replied, the same day...& now, like half a month later, you finally reply.

Anyway, I could write this & submit my results for "approval"...but that would slow things down. If I can't do direct changes myself, I have to wait for you (or someone else) to "apply" my code...also, as I mentioned, the last time I spent time on Code Blocks my time was wasted, since my code was never used...(& my code would've been useful, since a few months later, a Flash update broke the existing method).

So, would you prefer I simply write code & submit it to the forum & we can wait to see if you apply it for me?

Note: there are many other changes that need done...see my topics in Suggestions & Issues, that you haven't replied to. For example: the forum title's are still "not right", you applied a change, but never followed up on my reply in that topic.

If you're too busy ("not until the end of May at the earliest")...then how are you gonna be any less busy to apply any code that I post?...that's why giving me access skips the waiting. Things can get fixed as I see them, instead of me posting, uselessly, in Suggestions or Issues, to have my topics never looked at/replied to (yes, some of my topics have be acted on, but many haven't).

Preferably yes. If you don't want to it's not a problem and I'll get around to it soon.

@JSLover:

I believe that polyethene is right in this case. So post what you want to contribute here or elsewhere and wait and see what will happen.

@JSLover: "Expand" doesn't work in Chrome.
