Hi,

My company has an open position for someone who knows Auto Hot Key as well as other languages. We have a lot of apps or macros that have been developed in AHK over the years. I have developed a few of them myself, but my role has changed.

Job Purpose
Evaluate application issues and take action to resolve on first contact, identify proper delegation paths when necessary and escalate as appropriate. This position will be the first point of contact for any application support issues, change requests or new development needs.


Job Responsibilities
Review application issues identified and communicated by customers through established process and determine proper course of action to resolve. (fix, delegate, escalate)
Provide business administration support of tools as needed for new implementations and process changes
Gain a working knowledge of any ad-hoc application support tools being used in Customer Solutions and become the subject matter expert to address issues or problems with these tools.
For the assigned applications, possess an in-depth understanding of how they are used within the call center environment. Provide usage solutions given a particular user objective.
Work with Product Management and Process Improvement teams to implement changes and enhancments to existing tools, or development of new application tools.
Make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support applications, products and strategies.
Engage as needed with 3rd party vendors to co-ordinate the resolution of service tickets

Individual selected must be able to:

Ability to analyze and identify root cause of a problem and determine correct course of action for resolution.
Effectively communicate with internal and external clients.
Efficiently drive projects and tasks to closure, on time, and with quality
Meet internal customer expectations by providing documentation, communication and/or presentations to customers as required
Provide accurate and timely information within the established corporate and department performance metrics
Work multiple projects concurrently within established timeframes
Complete assignments with minimal supervision
Posses a basic knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation.
Have strong skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation


Education Required
High School Diploma required; four year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration preferred.


Experience Required
2-4 years experience in analysis, business intelligence, technical/application support or related field
Understanding of process improvement and/or Six Sigma yellow belt experience a plus.


Skills and Knowledge Required
Understanding of SQL, Auto Hot Key, DTS, VB Script, HTML
Familiar with Customer Care environment and call center tools
Experience with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Highly Analytical with strong organizational and decision making skills
