I would like to install some kind of chip in my wife's brain, connected to the PC and then create a ahk script that, whenever I press Alt-B, would make her go to the fridge and get me a beer.
Would it be possible?
Thanks in advance.
Adding a chip would change the person into a robot. Is that what you would want?
I already have the benefits without having to add a chip. It's called a "loving relationship"

I pose a solution, get rid of your current wife. Get a dog and then teach it to get you a beer. Call that your wife.

Just Dump your wife's brain into a file with a .wife extension. Then Right Click it and click on Link.
It should automatically pickup the serial code and hook the file up to your wife. Then Right Click it and goto to Command. Type in what you want and press Execute.

Raising my right hand while holding an empty beer can sends an infrared signal to my girlfriend's engagement ring, causing it to vibrate ever so slightly.
Of course, Adjustable Vibration Intensity (AVI), going from #1 - mildly irritating, to #10 - tazer-like convulsions, is on my to-do list.
At the moment, I'm having directional problems -- during a test run earlier today, my gesture set off the kitchen smoke alarm.
(last week it was every car alarm in the neighborhood, so I'm getting closer!)
This is totally unacceptable as my girlfriend uses the smoke alarm as a cooking timer. Try to imagine her confusion on Football Sunday when the smoke alarm goes off and she doesn't know if I need a beer or if the burgers need to be flipped!
Oh well, back to the drawing board. September is right around the corner.

...2 keys?...you wanna press 2 keys to get a beer?......too much work, just make it F1, easier....whenever I press Alt-B...
No, wait...make it be Space, the space bar has much more surface area...heck, just make it "any key".

It's just a programming habit; I try not to check for exact equivalence when the argument(s) don't have an enumerable value range. Besides, if you ask your friend if she wants a beer and she says "yes" but you don't have a beer, then you have committed one beer resulting in a beer deficit (-1 beer), which could trigger overdraft penalties if not immediately refilled. How does one have less than zero beers?Put it on a timer with
If GetBeerState() <= 0
But it seems someone is way ahead of the game...
FLOAT GetBeerState( __in HGLOBAL person );If the function succeeds, the return value is the volume (liters) of beer within a 1 meter radius of the person.
If the function fails, the return value is 0.0.

The idea is doomed initially, suppose you and your wife are being together, say reading some science fiction or doing other cool things, when someone sneaks into your room where you pc is and presses ALT-B. And there you go. And what if your fridge runs out of beer?
 Hypnosis would be much simpler to implement.
