I have encountered a new web service that uses an embedded button to start an animation ... I can't seem to find the name of this button nor can I predict where it is located on the page as it appears in random positions each time the page loads. All I am wanting to do is use this page as an information screen on a PC with no mouse or keyboard. The service is free and works provided a "PERSON" moves the mouse over the button object and clicks on it. I contacted the provider but they have never responded. Does anyone have a way to capture an object like this?

Only way I can think of that this might be done, if the button is not truly a "control", is with an ImageSearch, PixelSearch or some form of scan to find the button's text or colors and clicking within the region of the button, but, not having the web addy or any clue to the service itself, I can't offer more than that.

Thanks ... sharing too much or specific details opens the doors for these services to find more ways to close the doors ... fortunately this service has inadvertanlty left a back door open ... not sure why they went to all the trouble of building this hidden object. As I said this service is a free public service but they have changed their page to make it difficult to use in an auto mode.

In an offhand way it actually makes sense. That is, if you think of the main reason for the existence of the "Captcha" displays on some websites. Perhaps the designers of the site you referenced are trying to filter out bot log-ins so they can determine how many "people" actually enter the site?
