Which one looks best? Also it would help if you could copy the url and paste it here as there are a lot of images.

I choose the 4th one, Bilinear with noise reduction.

I said that I choose 4th, not 5th..
Because it has some blur effect, but it's eyes are still sharp enough.

I don't know if it works/helps but LazPaint has an "Smart zoom x3 : resize the image x3 and detects borders, to have a useful zoom with ancient games sprites."

For something so close to the edge I would first give it a border at least one pixel wide the same color as the background and then do your testing. This would eliminate the odd darker areas around the edges.

Yeah I know I should have, but the thing I was testing was NORMAL sprite resizing.

Well ------Rotsprite------ looks the clearest while -reduce and blur- is smoothest. I dunno.
