I know this is so off-topic, but maybe someone can help me..

I'm trying to download and display Unicode subtitles in MPC with no luck, they are showing very funny characters and when I open the srt file in Notepad++ I see its format is ANSI, changing that to Unicode doesn't help :S

Any idea?
Thanks

If it is ANSI, it must be a specific ANSI code page, and you'll need to determine which. However, Notepad++ might simply default to ANSI because it has no way of identifying the file's actual encoding. Are the characters shown as little boxes, or some other random characters? If boxes, maybe your font in Notepad++ can't display them.
