Just throwing this out there. Another forum I frequent actually has the current time of the server on the top of every page. It's not that big of a deal, but I find it handy at times.
All times are UTC - 2 hours I saw this, but not all of us know exactly what time that is.

I removed both since they seem unnecessary.

Hmm... I've always found the server time not as an unnecessary addition, but as a 'barely use, but do use' feature. Lolz
