I am looking for a tool that would allow me to have many folders on the desktop grouped as i liked and to be able to zoom in and out of sections of the desktop which of course, i'd be setting the limits for, so for example i would share it in 25 parts or whatever , control the visibility of the limit, put a different background on each part of the desktop, have subdivision (or not) of the next view. So in a way i'd be navigating my computer with mouse scrolls, zooming in and out of folders and desktops within desktops.
If someone knows software that can do any of the things above, i'd appreciate it.

Reminds me of Eagle Mode. I haven't used it, but the video looked interesting.

Not really totally what the OP is asking for, but Fences can help organize icons/folders/etc on a desktop. Maybe it's a starter.
@Lexikos (For some reason eventhough I know it's spelled with a "k" I always type a "c" and have to go back and correct myself): I think I've heard of Eagle Mode once before on this forum, but I have never given it a try or looked into it...
