[Puzzled Greatly]

I wish it would remember that I like to search Topics rather than posts. But what is worse is the recent way the search phrases are highlighted in yellow when I open up posts. I don't remember it being this way. Is there anyway to switch this "help" off. I find it really distracting. Thanks.

The highlight is not really something new.
If you go to a certain topic/post from those search results, you may notice "&hilit=whatever" in the URL.
You just have to remove that parameter.
