Microsoft has started a "blind search test" website comparing its Bing search results to Googles.

you enter a search phrase, and compare the two results and click on which you think gives better results. apparently the Bing results are winning 2 to 1

I was on there the other day, and generally bing is much more accurate.
but sometimes the way google suggests things (based off of previous searches and whatever) can be quite helpful.

I have tried both and my results are different google tends to get me what I want faster.

i did the test at <!-- w -->www.bingiton.com<!-- w --> and put in my own 5 searches, i ended up with 2 draws, 1 for google, and 2 for bing

I took the side by side test, and at the very end, it froze up... Being a Microsoft product, I decided I like Google better.

the other side of this arguement is that bing floods the user with formatting and content. Google just shows you what your looking for

lol Google Shows you what your looking for.. that is funny. I almost fell out of my chair.. i did spit coffee out.
I have always prefered the MS search (even back when i was beta.live.com) to Lycos/Excite/Yahoo and now Google. (Even the Bing Maps Are better in most cases)
Google is only better at Spell Checking what i am miss typing and their Phone # look up works better than Bing. ( i do use gmail hehehe)
I do love the fact that BING PAYS ME $$$$$$$$$$$$ real Money to use their search site.. dont see Google or Yahoo doing that.
I am only two days away from my Free $5 Amazon card on Bing.
