This has been a long time issue I've noticed but never got around to reporting it.
Plus I'm pretty sure that it wasnt developed by an AHk user/dev anyway.
This is mostly just a warning to Win7 users.

I 1st thought this issue was happening on my older Dual Core laptop but I purchased a bran new Lenovo in August
with Win7Ult pre-installed, and noticed it freezes up on it also.

It basically happens when the computer is idle and or a certain amount of cycles go by ( maybe 10 minutes or so ).
The freeze is 2 fold.
In the 1st stage you can move the mouse but click and key presses are non responsive.
In the 2nd, If you try to put the computer to sleep, it totally freezes up.

Actually theres a 3rd part I should add, if you put the computer to sleep with AU3_Spy running it also does the same as above.

I may try to build a script to either detect this
or maybe load something win AU3_Spy that closes it after a certain amount of idle time.

Just incase you try to reproduce this do know,
YOU WILL HAVE TO HARD BOOT YOUR SYSTEM!

Please let me know if you experience this issue at all.

Does not look to happen here (Win7 32-bit) :?

Are you on 64-bit?
Do you have any scripts running?
Does it happen when you close all applications?

I've tested it on both Win7 Ultimate x64 and x86 different builds on different systems and it happens.
Happens while scripts are running not running. With and without persistent timers.

How long did you idle you system?

Whats the time interval set to? This seems to happen to me between 10-30 mins.

Now you have me wondering,
...is there a way to track the amount time/cycles from/'til hardboot...
hrmmm....
