I got another Rib cook off on the 27th of this month. the prize money is going to Cancer research. I got a new recipe for my rub and sauce that I have been testing since the last comp (where i got 7th place out of 18) as long as i am in the top 10 i am happy. the closest i got to a win was 4th place. I have gotten Tasters Choice awards though from the people, not the judges. I have changed my sauce though since then in hopes that the Judges would like it better.
