I like that word, too! It's so accurate at times like these! :D

Gosh darn it, that does make perfect sense, having it look for the double space. If I could do that, they wouldn't even have to be combined into one.

Thank you for your help, Dra'Gon.

The thread for that is here It automagically capitalizes the first letter of the first word after a sentence-ending period or other punctuation mark. Another is an auto space script. The thread for that is ...

Thanks a lot, n-l-i-d. I was thinking you had to associate ahk files with Autohotkey for them to work.

Appreciate the reply.

Hi, AHKers. I'm aware that AHK can be run portably. A lot of medical transcriptionists work for companies that provide the computers to them, but do not allow installation of any software. A lot! This means they may not be able to use some of the text expanders they prefer. So portable AHK is an obv...

A translator turned me on to this free program, TextSTAT It has many features, but the one that made me lightheaded was that, after you have gotten your word frequency list, double click on a word - you see all the phrases it is in. Not only for Windows - it's Linux and Mac friendly. From Free Unive...

Guest, who are you - please come back and say! :D I'm personally glad you posted, for two reasons. One is that it gives me a chance to really, really thank Laszlo again. Many months have gone by now, and I use this script constantly and I just adore it. It's top on my list of "can't live withou...

Decarlo, congratulations! This is superb. I mean it. Yes, it has solved the regular typing difficulties. The hot key is great to turn it on and off if you need to, and the ability to see your list by holding the hot key down is just fantastic! I have mine set to 0. Instantaneous is for me. On the ot...

Wow! This is a vast, vast improvement, I can immediately tell! What a Christmas present! The replacements are working perfectly, without a hitch, and the regular typing is much, much better. I'm using the second one in your original post, that was edited. I still have a little skipping with regular ...

Don't forget, if the key release is not registered, or it is registered earlier than the key press, the last character repeats rapidly. To stop this, press and release the corresponding key Thanks, that's very helpful! Well, I won't keep coming on obnoxiously frequently without a major breakthrough...

The amazing possibilities are there, all right. Just wanted to "report." I tried the newer one, Laszlo, that you said would slow it down more, and I found that to be the case. In fact, it was a lot slower and I found I couldn't work with it. This was in my word processor (Word) and in dialog boxes. ...
