Great post specter333, I knew one day I was going to get some x10 toys and I saw your posts, looking forward to using this code. I finally got some modules and tried your library. Straight out of the box your demo let me switch me lights and floor fan on in seconds. Awesome! Can't wait to use AHK to...

For the time being I'm still using AHK Basic, but yeah something like that. SmartGUI was coded to write a temp INI file while you're building/moving elements, so I'll likely end up adding a field for each control to help generate that.

Looking at that picture again sumon , there might already be a few of the elements you're looking for in SmartGUI+. I forget where I left off, but I remember that I had an option to right click on a control and duplicate X number of the same item below/beside the current item, helping to speed up th...

drugwash: Why's that? I typed this somewhere, I tried to build off of yours to keep compatibility but ran into some issues that I didn't encounter with the original version so I kept with that. At this point the whole thing is still a mess, something I was building while I worked on numerous other ...

Thanks for posting, looks like some nice additions. I'm trying to run the demo and keep getting:

Code:
Error at line 53 in #include file "Q:\Testing\Lib\SCI.ahk".

The following variable name contains an illegal character: "sc.fn"

I'm glad I came across this post, I was in the process of doing the same thing :-)

FYI a hint for sharing CHM files - for whatever reason if you zip the file up and transfer it that way you avoid the security issues mentioned above. I created a CHM for the GDI+ Manual and found that to be true.

Everything seemed to load fine. I haven't had time to play with it very long, however it seems like a quick tutorial from you with screen shots and a simple examples of doing something with the tool would be useful to getting started. It looks like there are a lot of options and features, I'm just n...

Impressive specter :-) It looks like this tool has a lot of potential. I just tried running this and I have a note that may make this easier for newer users - you currently have it setup to where the user needs to copy your lib files to their standard library before executing. As I just wanted to te...

Sweet. I needed an incoming mail counter and I had no idea how I was going to do that w/o 100 icons to do so. I just tested and it worked great :-) The new one looks way better than the first version You do need to remember to add #Include gdip.ahk to the example above if it isn't in your standard l...
