I haven't tried it on a different computer. And suspending the hotkeys halted it entirely, though it could somehow be related to the two programs interacting? I dunno.

That didn't cause it to happen at all, and commenting out the ControlSend line of my original script made it stop happening for Ctrl-R, but it continued to happen for Ctrl-S.

That Windows explorer pops up twice for no apparent reason, and the only thing I can observe is that it's somehow associated with AutoHotkey and the Control key.

Script works perfect. Like I said, it even did it when I used S. The script isn't the problem, though it's somehow related to the script running.

Alright, no idea what's going on. Even when running only a single script that looks like this... #singleinstance force ~^r:: ifWinActive %A_ScriptName% { controlsend, ahk_parent, ^s, %A_Scriptname% reload } return ...and while having it open and active in Notepad, I'm getting this. I just ...

Do you know how to make this work? Can you help me? All I want is a simple script that sets variable VolStep to 1 when headphones are in, and 2 when they aren't. I have no idea how to get started.
P.S. I am running Vista. |

Come on, back me up. Is there any way to detect whether or not headphones are plugged in?

I had an idea to modify my volume control script, but I was wondering if it could somehow detect if headphones were plugged in or not. If so, tell me and I'll run with it. Another thing! I want to know how to make users able to enter their own hotkeys for compiled scripts. Kinda like this guy did he...

Alright, what I'm aiming for is the use of several clipboards. The idea is to press Ctrl-C as normal, but before releasing the C button, pressing Numpad1 and having it stored in a new variable. Digits 2-0 would work similarly, as would the cut and past functions. The real problem I'm having is, I'd ...

Cool, it appears to work just fine. Am I likely to be seeing the effects of that control key? Like in a game, or something? Oh well, if it becomes a problem, I'll just use the regular windows key. Thanks a lot!

I tested it with a straight Appskey::RWin, and I found that I had to release the Apps key and press it again each time I wanted to use a hotkey. Not very practical for skipping songs and the like. Also, neither inserting {Blind} or reverting to the single line replacement solved the problem.
