See IfWinActive , use that in your hotkey to limit it from working with that window(s) Thank you, but I want it to work with everything (except for one program), not just a predetermined list of applications. I want my script to work on all programs except for an instant messenging client. I searched the command list & the FAQ and I still cannot find out how this can be done. Any help?

I plan on using AutoHotKey for its text replacement functions. I want typographical errors to be automatically corrected in-game. I plan on doing this in Steam multiplayer games. Does Steam (or do any multiplayer games) automatically detect AutoHotKey scripts and ban individuals for using them?
