| would be useful if i could do this as it would make processing more efficient, but not essential. thanks for suggestion, but past experience with OCR suggests would be less reliable than simply using longer 'sleep' intervals. | Again, thanks, but I think I am pursuing something that is not easily attainable? Have used AU3 Spy option and the StatusBarText shows as: (1): "blank" Have also used a loop to look at other 'parts' of statusbar, but everything comes back blank, so have to assume that non-standard status b... |

| Thanks for this: Have tried without success and then reading 'help' it seems that the system I am testing may be using a non-standard taskbar so not getting anything back..... Has anyone got any more suggestions? Is there a screen-scrape 'utility' that could dump all window text to a searchable file... |
