Now that we've agread that Dutch is not German and that Dutch and German are not Nordic languages (although many similarities) and... that I'm not trying to be funny on my Mac, but really am back to Mac after 9 years of Windows (was on Mac since 1987), there's still the typical Dutch isue: Wie wil m...

Dear oh dear. Very poor translations. I'm not recovering from Mac (I am recovering from the flue, btw) but I'm fully back to Mac. So no more Windows for me. German and Dutch are not interchangeble at all. There are many similarities, but many more differences. Compare it to Spanish and French or Ita...

Dutch can understand the German (and vice versa) but writing is something completely diferent. Thats why I suggested a Dutch forum.

Thanks Krogdor, And how can this be done within a script? I found this scriptlet, but this is way to advanced for me. What should i write between the quotations marks? if not A_IsAdmin { DllCall("shell32\ShellExecuteA", uint, 0, str, "RunAs", str, A_AhkPath , str, ""&qu...

Then, I'll be more specific:

Are there known issues with AHK and Win 7 with:
- Variables such as WinDir i.e.
- write limitations in user dirs (in Win7 AppData\username\roaming...

or other common bugs?

I have been out AHK for a while and am trying to reincarnate some of my old scripts for Win7.

But my old scripts don't read ini files properly in Windows 7. Any suggestions?

Hello,

What would Windows be without AHK. I am a great fan of AHK. But - lucky me - I am back with Mac. So no more Windows.

The only thing I miss in OsX, is AHK.

Does anyone know of an alternative AHK for OsX?

Thanks,

Victor

Hi Chris. I registered Autohotkey.nl (over a year ago). I would like to make it sort of a AHK-mirror for the Netherlands, with a dutch wiki and forum. My question: can i use your logo, etc. Can you (when things are ready here) link to the dutch site and can I put a direct downloadlink to the newest ...

Hello, I am trying to change, in over 1000 Word-documents, the referrer to datafiles (used in the merge-function). This is for a migration project. The easy way is to read the file in AHK, find & replace the referrer and then write the file: FileRead, content, %sourcefile% StringReplace, content...

Nothing suspicious. It is in order to make a small app that can time-limit the use of a specific programm. But these days' youth... The even hack the coocky jar...

That's why.

And now you give me the solution?

Hello,

Is there a way to run a AHK-script as EXE but not show it in Windows' Processes-list. Maybe install it as a server?
