I thought about recreating something like http://visitorville.com using a good modern SimCity-Clone.

These two are open and free and whatever and not beautiful.

n-l-i-d, why don't you join the project? :D

You know I do this for my pleasure. So too much work shouldn't be involved. I want to use an already existing simcity-clone, like SimCity 4 or SimCity Societies or even Tropico :D. But I don't understand its scripting structure, I don't know whether it is easier to write my own 3D-Application instead.

You are looking from a different perspective. Visitorville is a standalone application which requires a (constant) Internet connection.

Good 3D-Graphic applications with need for performance don't have a decent agars in browser applications.

Speaking of which, where do I find answers to this?

I disagree.

Why don't you just deal with the questions themselves by the way?

I thought about recreating something like http://visitorville.com using a good modern SimCity-Clone. If you want to join from the start, which ideas do you have re making this real? My thoughts: ⋅ There should be a scripting language used - no autohotkey ⋅ Which SC-C is best for ...

I doubt it's possible, but I am wondering if there is a way to detect if headphones are currently plugged into the headphone jack... I don't know how they do it, but my mainboard soundcard driver "Realtek HD Audio Manager" displays exactly that under "Audio - E/A". I guess it is...

I think it sounds funny. I like it even though I have no clue what he is talking about... this quote of the answer is sorta symptomatic for any related post of the thread's creator. Exactly. And I am not alone, this is why noone wants you to do work for him or her because one can't stop laughing wh...
