From someone who just learned about it, AutoHotKey looks very promising! I'll probably be spending the new week playing with it to see if it can replace my need for using Girder (which sorely needs replacing...).

I've got the idea for my general shortcuts, next comes application toggles! Wish me luck!

I also bid you welcome. If you get stuck on something, post in the ask for help section, there are quite a few of us that try to answer questions regularly. PhiLho is in France, Bobo in Germany, Skan (Goyyah) in India, and there are a few of us in the US, so the forum is covered pretty much around the clock!
