It would me nice to be able to force text on any app full screen or windowed. I would think it could be done like Fraps/X-Fire/TSO or the others. I tried using a proxy dll and that did not work. Also tried to find functions inside serveral DLL that do this but with no luck.

Thanks.

Can you explain more precisely what you mean by "to force text"?
It is just to draw some text over the window?

To be albe to show an OSD on fullscreen apps. I have used AHK for some stuff @ my company and we have a couple of programs that run fullscreen and you can't alt-tab or they crash. It would be nice if you could show text on the screen when something is active. Like when press mute or the volume it shows across any app... I guess its a D3D render or something.

What is the problem in creating transparent GUI ontop everything with text/pic you desire?

Or, using DllCall and DrawText/TextOut

Appart from full screen 3D games, this will generaly work.

Try Morse code... :-)
Did you tried ToolTips, MsgBoxes, SplashScreens, or even GUI?
