Ok, this has probably taken less time to make than releasing because I never really got around to it. The information about this program is in a website listed at the bottom of the post. The zip file is kind of big because it has several executables in it (1mb?), so I guess I can post an alternative link to a .rar file if needed.

Added: Installation file made with Inno Setup.

AHTMLPad Latest Version

Enjoy and feedback is greatly appreciated.

Also I had tried making an installation file using Inno Setup, but I ran into problems because it was my first time using it.

I had the same problems when creating an installer for my BBCodeWriter script. I chose NSIS but had the same problems because of its first use.

Recently I came across a NSIS script generator and now it's easy. I hope it's of any help to you. :)

Thanks I may look into it when I get back on my Windows tomorrow, on linux now. And Inno Setup comes with a wizard that creates a script for you, but when I did Add Folder in the Add Files area it added all files of that folder, not the folder and its contents, so it messed up there, I am sure there is a way around that, but as of now I don't know. I'm looking at the provided web pages now.

Don't forget about the program though :D

Just a little note:

NSIS script generator can be configured to output a NSIS script too. :)
On the other hand I didn't need it yet, because the program does all I want automatically.
* generates Installer & Uninstaller

Concerning AHTMLPad:
Well, looks nice. But why did you choose to make an HTML editor?
There are so many good HTML editors out there. I think most people have their preferred program/tool to edit HTML.

If your program has a feature that makes it superior to other HTML editors, it would be the best thing to mention that within the first posting. :)

Mainly just a remake of my previous program... When you say that, you are right, and its like why do so many people on these forums make these when there are professional editors? I don't know why I did :D, it wasn't like I didn't enjoy making it, and also I felt like trying out some new things, especially the HiEdit control, which I really do like now that I have worked with it.

Why not use AutoHotkey's FileInstall for an installer program?

I've added an installation file. This file is smaller than the .zip file and more professional. It was created using Inno Setup.

Looks good from the screenshot. I see you use a minimalist layout with HiEdit, amazing stuff. Too bad the download links don't work, perhaps its time to make the switch to autohotkey.net ;)

Oh... I'll have to get around to fixing that, I changed my site layout this summer and didn't like it and then found a site to use php on so I gave up on that site. Its also discontinued. The source I think is in the setup file as well.

Edit: Yea the install file contains the source as well. Its kind of a mess of files.. But it just installs to w/e directory you want, doesn't make any registry changes I don't think, and its smaller than the zip.

I might get back into working on this, maybe if I'm bored and need a new project.
