I'm looking for a killer app or best practice for a simple problem, too many duplicate files amongst multiple directory structures.

I have a bunch of MP3 files in different directory collections. I would like to merge these directories into one master directory but I know I have dupliates. I have looked a various Duplicate File Finder apps but none seem to offer an "auto mode" of operation. Is there an appliation out there that will allow you to set "Best Version" rules and tolerances to help decide when to overright an existing file or when to drop the challenge file into "Dup" directory? I realize this gets pretty complicated with the various Tag values.

Has anyone found, or written, an elegant solution for this?
