I see. Then you need to Google: PS2 to USB adaptor. (One of the many hits: http://www.iunitek.com/iunitek/index.cfm?fuseaction=shop.dspSpecs&part=1610084). You can try to get one in RadioShack, BetsBuy, CircuitCity... Just call them and ask for a PS2 to USB adaptor.

Or buy for the same amount of money you'll probably spend on an adapter an USB-mouse instead...

Walmart sells one, but you have to call to check if your shop has one stocked:
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2470633

In BestBuy it is $30: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7334306&type=product&id=1118845445350.

In Circuit City only $12: http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=209662

You have to call... Still, as n-l-i-d says, a USB mouse is about the same price as the adapter.

hey guys

ok, i'm getting pissed off. i bought the adaptor searching all over town for this crap. then when i tried to make the sockets fit, it didnt at first. but then i kind of made it fit by very very tiny movement of one pin no biggie really.

but i plug it in to my computer, it installs whatever, then it comopletes. i try to move my mouse, but no respond no thing not even when i click. its a belkin ubs to ps/2 adapter that it says supports windows 98 se through xp. i have a windows vista, but the guy at the store says it will work for vista.

this is a brand new old mouse from ebay. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME. i'm basically giving up a much needed day from school just to do this crap. i'm putting my grades in jeopardy.

im going to restart to see if that makes a difference. but please someone respond by the time i get rebooted
