Wish AutoHotKey had a GUI Designer that would allow for you to right-click on controls and edit its code. This way, you could assign action/events/functions to the controls and build apps faster.

This would not take the place of the editors, but just allow for a "more complete framework" to be copied to them and speed up the process.

This is a good long-term goal. To make it more of a short-term prospect, a volunteer or two would probably be needed.
