Hi,

I'm trying to retrieve text within a program -- Goldmine PE. Thanks to Window Spy, I can get the ahk_class, but all I see under Visible Window Text is "Tree2". There is nothing under Hidden Window Text.

How can I dig down to get text displayed within this Tree2 tree control (?), using the above information? (using latest AHK 1.0.48.03 on WinXP)

Thanks.

Search the forum, perhaps this may help:

It may be that it isn't possible to obtain the text in your case

Thanks for the pointer. I did come across that post while searching the forums, but it seems to apply to AHK-created treeviews, rather than the one I'm trying to inspect from an existing program.

Still trying to crack the text in the mysterious Tree2...

Search for "TreeCtrl-support via DLLCall". I use it to get the info from the "Call Stack" of Lexiko's XDC: XDebug Client.

I hope, this will help.

Hubert
