I've been playing around with SmartGui 3.5.1 and have noticed the following problems:

1. If I change text color or turn on bolding, I can't turn off the settings again. Once I set bold, everything is bold from then on.

2. When I save my GUI, it only saves partially. After saving then reopening a GUI script, about half of the text boxes were missing, and what was left was missing text formatting information -- bolding, color, etc.

Anyone else seen this?

EDIT

Sorry - scratch the above, my bad. Everything's just fine, except for the fact that I overwrote another script file with the GUI script, and of course I had no backup.

Hey, Rajat, is there any way to just do a "Save", rather than "Save as.." and having to specify the filename every time?

Rajat, great program.

Would it be possible to be able to right-click on a control and edit what the control will do, if say "clicked"?

Do you think it would be possible to assign actions to controls?

Kaiwen,
the change you suggested is has been mentioned to me earlier too... i'll try to put it in the next release.

AhkNow,
your suggestion has been discussed in detail earlier. probably in one of the posts in General Chat section. the change isn't planned as the aim of SGUI is to design the 'look' and not the 'functionality' of target app.

How do you pull off Gui stealing listview headers? Or at least the first column header... Are you planning a multi column version?

I need the code!

Hey Rajat, this thing is half way to being a Visual Basic of AHK...or a Visual IDE. How about we team up and work on making it go all the way there?

We could implement the latest version of your IntelliSense script so when you type your code into a code entry window, then you'll be able to see what you can and can't do with it. A way to quickly get help on current items or topics would be great too.

So, got to go for now..

i had plans to do an integrated environment to write ahk scripts. it'd include intellisense, autocomplete, cmd-suggestion and some other stuff that i'd created before this break.
maybe someday i'll do it.

You had plans to do it before some break huh? What, did you want to code it all yourself and keep all of the glory?

Come on, I'll help out...you just keep a bit of direction going on here..and provide me with some source. It will be a team effort.

That's magic. And Rajat is a sorcerer when it comes to AHK. :)

Rajat, this may be hard to ask, and you may say no, but could all of us out here have the source code for SmartGUI?
