AutoHotkey has been around a long time huh...
My suggestions to improve it and bring it into it's prime...
    -New Logo
    -New forum/forum skin
    -Adverts on the site*
    -Advertisment for AHK**
    -Embed a xat chat box***

*With Chris making money off of this program that means he is more inclined to spend time improving it and the community all around a good thing, and who cares about a few flashy adverts if it helps us all?

**I will be making Youtube videos and writing articles all over in the coming months, could use help though...

***I think it's called xat... It gets old in my opinion running all over the net to be active in the community

I want to help make AutoHotkey great.
I used to not know what I wanted to do with my life...
I now know I want to be a programmer and thats all thanks to AHK, Chris, Enug, and Lex.
And now it's time to return the favor.

* Has been suggested before. He has his reasons not to.

** no comment. People will advertise if they want to.

*** XAT is lame. pointless...bleh. AHK has an IRC accound on Freenode. Get a client such as pidgin, miranda, mIRC, xchat or one if the many others and join #AHK. there is an active user base of 30-40 people.

It may be but I feel the chat should be on the site rather than hosted elsewhere.
But then again bandwith issues could arise...
Hmm...

You are joking, right? Running all over the net? Uhm, this forum is perfect! Why would you want to use some really crappy and unsupportive web chat? irc is way better, since it can be used everywhere.

Welcome to the forum! We're glad you're excited about AutoHotkey and everything it can do.

Don't despair, AHK is still very active and updated regularly, so there's no need for any new fancy tricks to pump new life into it... yet.

Good luck with the Youtube videos... but I'd rather spend my time writing great scripts. :)

Come visit us at the AHK chat room on IRC. Follow the link below.
