Bleach, ah, bleach. I was once a free radical myself until I got married, ba-da-boom. Reminds me of many fine renting experiences I had in the Washington DC area. I am on the nearly exact opposite side of the continent from you, and wishing I were in Seattle, for sure.
I'm going to put up the first compiled executable version, what the hell. It has a few minor rough edges yet but the core functionality should be there. You can start with the comlist I created for myself if you like. I haven't really created a manual yet. I think in keeping with standard methods, I need to get the dumbest guy on the team to do that -- but wait, that's me! OK, well the manual is in progress then.
Add the words in the comlist to your Dragon vocab (easiest in the "recognition center" menu item) and then train them. Then run Dragon with Dragonpad, and start this app. Whenever you speak one of the new words in Dragonpad and then perform a cut-n-paste, they will be converted, hey presto. It is, as stated before, intended to expedite transcribing dialogue using Dragon, as Dragon was not specifically designed for that purpose.
The new "cleanup commands" menu item includes a command to delete all timestamps, and the "big cleanup" which basically reformats the DragonPad² doc to look more like a regular transcript. I'm debating whether to incorporate something like that in every cutnpaste. The thing is, I'm trying to make it compete with Dragon for CPU cycles as little as possible, and so I figured you can do the cleanup commands when you're done, rather than while transcribing, and let the whiners go hang. At least the price is right. This is still all Alpha!
