Although probably already considered under additional controls in the list, I thought I'd be specific :wink: ... Creating a custom editor for AHK using AHK sounds like it might be fun... :D

Yes, it's tentatively planned. I don't know if RichEdit is powerful enough to do syntax coloring, but it would certainly be a good control type to have.
