If the answer is yes to either or both, where can I find them?
I didn't answer it because the answer to both the questions was no.
kinda pointless to answering a question if you only need it when either or both are 'yes'.

Not only that, you answers are confusing.
With your No & Both answer.
re-read my post: no
@ both.
@ = AT
& = AND.
so no AT both means "the answer to both questions is 'no'"

if the IRC's purpose is to provide quick answers to the impatient or
people who prefer realtime interaction n addition to it's other purposes.
Then it must have the same value as the regular forum.
Therefore the questions/answers on iRC would provide the same
learning experience as the Ahk forum.
On the IRC we are more strict. we often times only help someone if they are willing to learn and/or read the stuff with give them. If they demand code without any effort, or are being rude, we will not help. sometimes we might help if they are not being rude but request code, but that depends on whoever is helping and their mood and how easy it is.

If it's 80% chatter & 20% help, then i'm not interested.
I'll stick with the forum.
some days it's a whole lot of helping.
some days it's almost all off-topic
some days no one is talking
(usually it's quiet on weekends).
some days it's a good mix of everything.
IRC hints for all:
* be patient.
* don't be rude.
* use an IRC client
(like: pidgin, hydraIRC, XCHAT, etc.), not a web browser.
* wait for an answer.
* read the IRC channel topic.
* use a nickname.
