I've just made a tool that closes many processes at once, but I can't seem to close processes from other logged on users in XP.

A function or a fault?

At least someting Gates got right. :)

I would not like other users to kill my processes, how would you like that if someone would kill your WinWord session where you have just typed a 10 pager without saving?

So I guess it is a security feature.

I think it's normal behavior, which can possibly be changed by killing the process with an admin user.

I checked the source: "Process Close" simply calls OpenProcess+TerminateProcess, so there doesn't seem to be any chance of a bug there.

:? But the Taskmanager closes everything, as long as you're an administrator.

A RunAs is not practical either, with passwords and all...

Take a look at PsKill from SysInternals.
