I followed the basic step-by-step introduction ("Getting started") after the first intallation of SmartGUI. However - at the point where the guide says: "When you're satisfied with the layout, select 'Exit' from tray menu, you'll be prompted for a file to save the GUI to." I receive the folllowing error:

Error: Failed attempt to launch program or document:
Action: <C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\ftmh\Desktop\MyGui.ahk>
Params: <>
The current thread will exit.
Specifically: Der angegebenen Datei ist keine Anwendung zugeordnet.

I have only a button placed on the GUI. Can someone help me?

Wow! That was fast and right. Thanks for the help. I haven't used the installer so the the reason was the missing registration of the file extension, indeed.
