The program was created to make your life easier.
As anything created by human though ???( what does this mean)?
the last bit, "Isn't that sounds attractive. eh? - should be " Doesn't that sound attractive

but apart from the English it seems well done

lol
yeah, man, that was mine bad english, funny, isn't it? :)

Since i met Jonh after Menu Builder was wrote, i think english in new version is much better (though John sometimes a little lazy to check english after me), i would recommend you to trash MB and check QC

Hey, man, good siggestions, we will definetly realize them in future versions (though not in next since it almost done)

Great!

I appreciate the inclusion of a Temporary Suspend;
Could an upcoming revision perhaps include...

a) the ability to set a user-defined suspend time,
b) the ability to turn off the tool tips

I'm really liking this tool...
Thanks!
:D

:) Thanks SoggyDog!

a) You can set the suspend time from 5-999 seconds. Check the gesture settings

b)We were already talking about adding some tooltip options :D

Development continues on this app at apathysoftworks.com.

I like this app and think it would be a shame for someone to miss out
on it simply because of limited activity here at the AHK Forums.

Basically, this is a -bump-

Deo: Really nice tool, thanks for sharing :-)

I was wondering if it would be possible/difficult to adapt your tool to work as a menu generator for other AHK programs? If you could use your interface to assemble the options and then export the code to plugin to other programs that would be most useful. I've looked through the source and this is over my head but I love the way the output looks.

Quick Cliq has been updated to version 1.1.1.0!

It is a rather large update so check out the blog post about it here:
http://apathysoftworks.com/qc-updated-ver-1110

And grab the app here:

Thanks again to all our users!

Hello,

this is a really nice app.

Currently I am using PStart to launch stuff from my USB stick. What makes Quick Cliq so intruiging is its shortcut to bring up the launch menu and no mouse input needed.

Unfortunately there are still a few letdowns. This is what I have noticed:

Custom icons will not show as soon as you change your drive letter. This means they are stored with the drive letter and thus not optimal for portable use. Even the icons from an application I set a relative path to will not show as soon as the drive letter changes.

Is it me, or is the icon display a bit... chunky?

The same counts for the applications. While I can, of course, remove the drive letter from the application (or folder or or or) from the path, it is still not solved optimally for portable use.

So far this is the only bugs I have noticed.

A little wishlist to make myself as annoying as possible: ;)

- custom hotkeys to menu items
- ability to hide the default menus (clips,windows...)
- ability to change menu colors
- ability to enter own tooltips for menu items that will show on pressing CTRL

So far my two cents. Let's see what comes up as I continue this nicely developing program. Keep going guys! Great stuff! :)

Just found something else.

I am using Opera a s a browser. Opera nicely implements mouse gestures. So does Quick Cliq. Unfortunately QC overrides the Opera ones.

So my suggestion would be to create an exception list where programs can be entered in which the QC mouse gestures are deactivated.

Just a suggestion. Until then I will just deactivate the QC mouse gestures (my work requires me to spend most of my computer time on the browser).

Hi, BigBonsai!
thank you for using Quick Cliq, i'm glad you decided to try it :)
You right, it has some problems with icons appearing, but some of them were fixed in the 1.1.1.0 version, other we will try to fix in future versions.

Regarding your wishlist, - it is already have half of things you mentioned :)
Quote:
- ability to hide the default menus (clips,windows...)
- ability to change menu colors

And there was small bug-fix update released recently, so check it out :)

Thanks for your reply.

I am glad there is still development on this piece of software. :)

To my suggestions:

I just saw now that I can change menu colors. Thanks for the hint (although I am still a bit unsure of how it works). Yet, how do I set the colors on the main menu? And is there a way of changing the value for the hover color when selecting an item. Currently it uses the windows default (dark blue select color on black writing). That makes the items nigh unreadable when I hover over them.

What I mean with hiding the default menus is not making them disappear completely (although that may be the best option once I got used to the shortcuts), but collecting them together in one "system" menu (or so).

As to the exception list, what about giving the option to trigger QC only after a timed event. Radian, e.g. launches after the right mouse button is pressed for an optional time (default is 2 seconds, I think).

Just an idea or two...

Oh, by the way, I don't know about the bug fix you mentioned. I am using version 1.1.1.5.

In any case, I like the program. :)
