I just thought this was an interesting tidbit considering the Periodic Table hasn't really experienced a change this large in many years.

The changes are very small, it could take years for school textbooks and teaching to update with the new information. Some may choose to ignore it. In chemical analysis only certain isotopes are used e.g. carbon-13 and hydrogen-1/2. Industries use their own models for calculating masses and atom economy depending on the source of their material. For many years data books recorded relative abundance of isotopes in nature and they are still correct to 3-4 significant figures.

The updates reflect what chemists around the world already know with slightly more precise measurements on key elements. Apart from education it doesn't affect anything however.
