Hi. My computer labs are going to be using Linux, and I understand that IronAHK is pretty much AHK for linux. When I drag an AHK script onto IronAHK.exe, I get this error:



The following errors occurred:
Firefox Surfing Script.ahk:0 – Could not look up method MButton

I remapped MButton in this script. In another script, with no MButton, and that has a remap involving LButton, I get the same error that mentions the LButton.

I made a new empty ahk script, and tried to drag it onto the .exe. The red IronAHK appeared in the corner, and then when I mouse over it, it disappears; nothing happens.



Any thoughts as to what’s going on?

Edit: I should mention that I'm just trying this on my windows computer first. I haven't tested this on a Linux machine. I just wanna see if IronAHK works on my windows pc first.

I don't know the answer i can only stipulate that ahk for linux probably won't function at all in windows. It would be like testing your japanese on a chinese person to see if you communicate well. It just doesn't work. Hope you get a better response!

IronAHK works on almost all operating systems. That wouldn't be the problem.

I know very little re: compatibility of the AHK to IronAHK, but I believe that IronAHK has commands unique to linux in that it uses a completely different framework for running scripts, .NET instead of what AHK uses on Windows. It seems that the question is how to run an AHK script on IronAHK, and I'm guessing it simply won't work. Sorry to rain on your parade, and I hope I'm wrong for your sake, but I'd also say that if you look into www.ironahk.net, you may find that the script is easily rewritable and can then be run on a linux platform. Good luck, and again I apologize for having been more help
