Thanks. I've updated the site with links to the French and Russian translations of the tutorial.

2(Chris) I think it would be better to replace the link on the Russian documentation on the page http://www.autohotkey.com/docs/ with the following link: http://www.script-coding.info/AutoHotke ... ation.html -- as the latter includes the whole list of the translated articles where new articles are constantly added. Thanks!

To avoid double work, I'm working on a Dutch translation of the documentation right now.

If anybody is willing to help or already working on it too, contact me and we could split the work.

Oh, and if anybody is interested in a Frisian translation...

Wie sieht da der arbeitsteilige Workflow aus ? Der Friese hält den Finger hin - und die andern hämmern die Tastatur dagegen ??

maybe someone can add an item to his/her to-do list:
Code:
hotkey+code for universal language identifier and translator

could be the prototype of something like Star Trek's on-board computer universal translator function :)
(btw, the first two series remain the best)

:P

True localization would be something nice though, maybe just by adding a ahk.lng file to the AutoHotkey's executable folder with the desired language replacements in it, so that a German/French/Frisian/Klingon whatever version of AutoHotkey can be made without adding it to the code.

It would be even nicer to be able to change the syntax too, like:

Code:
Run Notepad
Start Kladblok
Che' Notepad ; couldn't find the Klingon equivalent for 'Notepad' :p
etcet

Très bonne initiative ! Et traduction de très bonne qualité.
Je n'aurai jamais eu le temps de faire la translation moi-même, mais je me suis permis de corriger quelques petites fautes ou de changer quelques tournures de phrases par-ci par-là.
J'ai nettoyé les scories faites par DreamWeaver, réduisant la taille du fichier de 27 à 24 Ko...
Je peux vous l'envoyer par e-mail privé.

English
Very good idea! And an excellent translation.
I would never managed to make the translation myself, but I could correct some small typos or improve slightly the readability here and there.
I also cleaned up little glitches introduced by DreamWeaver, reducing HTML file size from 27KB to 24KB...
I can send it by private e-mail.

Bonjour,

Je viens de découvrir AutoHotkey et serais interessé pour donner un coup de main pour la traduction française de l'aide en ligne. Quelqu'un pourrait-il me dire s'il y a des choses en cours et comment c'est organisé...

Merci @+
