For all those wondering that i disappeared from forums - its true. I stopped using AHK and decided as as final act to release all published scripts unless noted otherwise under CC-BY ...

For all those sticking to AHK and friends ... good luck and have fun!

greets
dR

I believe he posted somewhere that he has gone onto using Python and is running Linux now. (Good man...I'll be back to linux myself once I get some school stuff finished and finish setting up Arch Linux the way I want/need it).

Are you still working on nubAHK or have you abandoned it?

Honestly I like python ten times better than AHK. I don't really like IronAHK to be honest...not everything works good and I'm not even sure if its still developed...but I haven't played with it in atleast six months or so.

Edit: Fixed typos.

Last commit was on April 28th, so not as busy as usual but looks to still be developed anyway.

BTW, thanks for the Python lit, has been very helpful!

nubAHK wont be developed. however there will be a language named nubScript and another one which will be a high level programming language named nubCode. both languages will be extensible thru some sort of EBNF notations which define the entire syntax ....

for a better understanding:

nubScript will be translated into nubCode and the resulting nubCode may be either executed as an interpreted variant or in a compiled form (for distribution).

there wont be a dependency ... all executables will be statically linked and therefor selfcontained - IMO its better than depend on specific libs that may be outdated or replaced by newer ones .. however the needed space is not the problem anymore. the code will be portable, by means it may run in any supported os (linux, win32, mac, zeta etc) - currently its planned that nubCode will executeon LLVM (LowLevelVirtualMachine) so any target supporting LLVM will be able to execute the nubCode. additionally it will include own nubWidgets ... so the resulting binaries will have same look and feel on any target

currently no map nor any milestone releases exists ... all i can say is it will be published when its done :)

I haven't been on Windows in some time but IronAHK is good enough for simple tasks. It has problems like not being able to put certain commands in the AutoExecute section of a script.

Good luck on your projects moving forward. When you have a link, please post it here.
