Well done!

Ciao, a presto

PLEASE TELL ME IF THIS VERSION IS BETTER OR IF YOU PREFERE 0.4.

Love your work :-)
Here some suggestions / my opinion: (feel free to aply or not)

1.) Copy file and paste path is wonderfull
2.) Save clips, too
3.) IMHO 20 clips are too much. 9 would be sufficient. (Tested the last few days I never used Numbers >7). I think this is hard coded. Don't know how much work it would be to make the number customisable.
4.) New interface slows down work a little bit (presseing 2x enter :-)).
Perhaps it would be better, if a single click/enter paste the clipboard. Double click/hotkey on a select number to birng up editing/saving menue(paste won't be needed).
5.) You don't mentiond, that pressing s brings you straight to the saved templates  so what about numbers for the saved clips for fast access?
6.) Recognize that I'm a 10 finger writer? What about to use j,k for navigating up/down in the menue (like in the *x editors). But probably i will solve this via ::send key

So far ...
Nice tool, I won't work without it any more.

Ciao, a presto! :D

I'd been using version 0.1, so this new version 0.7 is a welcome surprise for me. Thanks for improving an already great script!

Some comments:
1. +++ overall, very good changes with the ability to edit and save clips
2. -- cannot kill it or rerun(reload) from the taskbar; dialogue only provided the 2 paste options.

3. the default length of the visible clips in the popup is too short, I changed it to longer i.e.
StringMid, itemTemp1, filec, 1, 55

4. ? with version 0.1, I frequently get dropped clips i.e. copied clips don't make it to the kiu clipboard. I'll see if the latest version has this problem (will
note if it does)

5. I rename the script as 20clipboard.ahk to be clearer (to myself). kiuclips doesn't mean anything to me, and if it does, it's wrong (kiu is "9" in Japanese/Hakka, but Im using "20").

Overall, thanks for an exceptional script. It's part of my regular stable.

Suggestion:
1. is it possible to add non-textual clips i.e. screen captures?

Did you happen to notice the screen name of the person who wrote it. To me this would be like taking "Gone With the Wind" and putting a new cover on it that says "Scarlett and Rhett" because its easier to remember.

 Post subject: update?
PostPosted: November 12th, 2006, 11:23 pm
was there ever an update to this script? when i use it, the clipboard item gets pasted twice for some reason. i'm assuming no one else has this problem? i also notice that in some fields (like the ie addressbar) the field is entirely replaced by the clipboard contents rather than being appended after the cursor. does anyone else experience this problem?

Can you explain better your problem and if it occurs always? Please can you tell me your OS too?

This is a great script; I've been meaning to have a look for a little freeware app like this for a while, but then I noticed this & it does the job perfectly!

Only one problem: I can't work out how to exit the script! I have always done it from the taskbar right-click menu with other scripts, is there another simple way? It's useful to have the paste mode options in that menu, but isn't there some way you could still have the normal menu options like other scripts have?

Thanks! :D

just add this line before the first return
Code:
menu, tray, add, Exit,exitapplication

and this label at the end of the script
Code:
exitapplication:
exitapp
return

if you need more help, let me know

Nice a made a very simular program that runs in the tray and when you copy something it you can save it to a slot be tween 1-9 then you can paste a slot between 1-9 i have it running all the time it saves a lot of time with some stuff i do.

Good work
