I find it interesting that Google search can find things in the AutoHotkey forum that the forum search cannot find.

Using Google search...Returns 2 results searching for....
SHGetSpecialFolderLocation() site:autohotkey.com

Forum search...Returns 0 results searching for....
SHGetSpecialFolderLocation()

Why is that?

Different search algorithms.

Also, AHK actually has two different search engines...have you tried both? They may return different results...

www.autohotkey.com/search returns:

Forum search returns nothing...

Google returns:

I think that an overhaul of the search features for the site were in the works when we were planning an upgrade, but that project has been put on the back burner for a while. Hopefully some day we will see a fresh new look to AHK's pages and improved functionality (but I wouldn't hold my breath)

Keep in mind an upgrade to the site is LOTS of work and getting a good search algorithm is probably quite the job in itself.

I was not aware there was more the 1 search engine.
