Another fine release brought to you by T800 Productions...
Folder Options X is a Windows Explorer add-on that brings useful features from Windows Vista to Windows 7.

Disable fullrow selection:

Show column sort headers in all views:

Enable drag & drop icon reordering:

Project's homepage:

NOTE: works on Windows 7 only!
:!: Important information can be found here.

I hope you like those nice icon, I've made them from
Image "Farm-Fresh Web Icons" by FatCow Web Hosting.

I wish you didn't have to wait so long for something like this. I don't use Win7 yet (OEM Vista still works fine) but my brother now uses Win7, so this was made for my Bro. 8)
If you have a keen eye you might notice that fullrow select and sort headers depend on custom icon ordering and that file list looks the same as in Vista - well, that's how things work.
Full source code is available so you can build project yourself using VC2008 Express, WinSDK 7 and ATL from latest DDK.

In the library the drag and drop does not work for me, the separation bar appears but when I drop the file it returns the the original position.
Do you have an explanation ?

It might be because the libraries are not actual physical folders but virtual representation of files somewhere else on the disk, so I guess libraries have it's own ways of representing files and ignore applied settings.

Trying to fix Microsoft's mistakes doesn't always work. :?
