Does anybody else on here listen to podcasts or radio programs? Personally my favorite topic is science and often listen on my daily bus journeys.

Here's one I listen to: http://moourl.com/1vuwm
it's pretty interesting, so is the rest of the series but it's cool if science isn't your thing

if you listen to anything I may be interested in please let me know :D and feel free to talk about other topics (ie education, news etc) because I'm currently trying to broaden my listening list!

FileServe? Really? When we have www.autohotkey.net , www.filedropper.com , www.filehosting.org , (all without ads or premium memberships, and the last doesn't even have limits), or even Mediafire?

Wow.

In fact, I can't even access the download from my mobile devices, which sorta defeats the purpose of a podcast

so it seems menaphus ignored the advice from his adfly topic http://www.autohotkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=81253 .
Url shortened an adfly url that redirects to another random download site with ads and limits. Awesome! (sarcasm)

hope you enjoyed your extra penny!

I listen to NPR podcasts. My favorite is Science Friday which has 2 hours every week.
http://sciencefriday.com/
RSS Feed: http://www.sciencefriday.com/audio/scifriaudio.xml

I also like On Point with Tom Ashbrook. Some of the topics are a bit fluffy but I use a podcast manager to pick and choose which ones I listen to. There is always plenty of selection because there are 2 hours of this show every day :D

I use Juice to download my podcasts automatically.

Also I listen to them more quickly by setting windows media player to play them at 1.3x speed :P

I am afraid I have no experience with podcasts, but I do often listen to audio books and radio plays.

A large selection of vintage radio programs: http://oldradioprograms.us/index.htm
Free audio books in the public domain: https://catalog.librivox.org/
Some high quality SciFi radio theater programs from the late 90s: http://www.archive.org/details/SETheater

If you try one of the audio books I would highly recommend Whose Body. A murder mystery with excellent plotting and witty dialogue. Don't let the setting fool you. The story holds up pretty well against modern equivalents like CSI.

calm down tidbit and numda, it's not like I'm spamming the forum with links, moreover I wasn't even aware people downloaded podcasts directly to their mobile devices these days!

Interesting, thanks for the suggestions, I'll check them out.
Some others I like are the Naked scientist and The Life Scientific, both very general and difficult to get bored of so long as there are new ones now and again
