A translator turned me on to this free program, TextSTAT It has many features, but the one that made me lightheaded was that, after you have gotten your word frequency list, double click on a word - you see all the phrases it is in. Not only for Windows - it's Linux and Mac friendly. From Free University of Berlin. I'm certain it could have a lot of good uses for all sorts of people besides transcriptionists and translators.

excellent stuff! , excellent options and really fast too...

flaws:

- cannot add folder (all files in folder, recursive)
- cannot handle UNC paths
- backspace doesn't work in searchfield

still very good stuff tho
