I noticed a new version of UPX has been released:

http://upx.sourceforge.net/

Doing a couple of quick tests it seemed to knock about 0.5 KB off a compiled script compared with the version in AutoHotkey104407. I also noticed it said something about "New options for compression tuning" - not sure if those are helpful or not

I did fairly comprehensive testing of version 2.00 and wasn't able to get any additional size reduction over 1.25 (I tried various combinations of all the new command line switches).

Since 2.00 is considerably larger than the 1.25, I think most people would prefer the smaller download size of sticking with 1.25 for now (1.25 seems to be a very stable version). However, this decision may change as more features are added to the 2.xx series.
