Yup, you guessed it:

Chris!!!

I noticed that Chris is nearing the 3000-post mark, a testament to his excellency in maintaining this program and helping those of us new to scripting or programming in general. I'd like to give a toast (BoBo, no puns  ), thanking him for making this terrific successor to AutoIt, and for leading us on the whole way!

Go Chris!!

I've always wondered how Chris manages to do all this. Does he have a dayjob beside AutoHotkey? If so how he can devote so much time to AH?

Or maybe the grateful users donate enough to his PayPal account, so he can work on AH all day? It seems unlikely since his PayPal account is nowhere to be found on the public pages of this site.

Developing AH, supporting users, answering questions probably take an enormous amount of time. It's a mistery to me how he does it. :)

Thanks guys. I wish I could spend more time on it since I know some are disappointed with the lack of progress on various planned features.

The anniversary of the first non-beta release (1.0.00) is February 16.

Congratulations Chris for everything. Many of us take it for granted, thinking back, it was nightmare to do everyday computer tasks before knowing AutoHotkey. You might hear this alot Chris but I really appreciate your work, it has done heaps of good for me :D

What can I say witch hadn't been said yet ? We all know AHK becomes better from month to month. It has now such features witch can help so many people to automate their tasks : hotkeys, hotstrings, GUI, expressions, ... the list is too long. And, even if it's open source, it is developped by one guy : Chris (of course I like pieces of software based on AHK like SGUI from Rajat...). So I add my voice to the concert of (deserved) commendations and I say to Chris : thanks so much.

AutoScriptWriter, Ahk2Exe, Window Spy, and many of AutoHotkey's commands were adapted directly from AutoIt code. Thus, I think I speak for everyone in extending thanks to all the AutoIt developers.

That's right, but I think the furthers developpements witch made AHK from AutoIt2 are yours... So thanks to you too !!! Great job from your predecessors and from you...

Chris, would you, at a minimum, consider allowing us to provide our email addresses to you so that when the fateful day of running out of funds does come, you can hit us up for some gratitude and cash!

Wonderful program! I have to change admin passwords on 50 servers a month and the passwords are mightly cyptic. Your program saves me hours of time every monnth and ensures the password is entered correctly.

I'm not worried about running out of funds for the site. Even if that were to happen, I don't mind paying for it (it's not that expensive anyway).

Thanks.

hey Chris why don't u sign up with google AdWords? its unbelievably easy and nothing distracting. i hear that the sites with much lower number of visitors get enough to pay for hosting and some more.
the way u're getting followers, u can maybe retire in a month!!! ;)

AFAIK, he had that already, but there was a dispute with the AU3 team as one of the "keywords" for that "add" was AutoIt2 (based on AHK's backward compatibility to it)
Chris, correct me if I'm wrong. Thx.
